Who we are

ShipNSleep is a software development studio based in Delhi, India. When this policy says “we” or “us”, it means ShipNSleep. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@shipnsleep.com.

What we collect

We only receive personal information that you choose to send us:

• Your project brief. Your name and email address, plus anything optional you add: company or project name, the services you’re interested in, your project stage, timeline, budget and message.
• Emails and calls. Whatever you share when you write to us or phone us directly.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other sites. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security and reliability.

While you fill in the project brief, a draft is saved in your own browser’s local storage so you don’t lose your work. That draft stays on your device. It is removed when you send the brief, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a call, and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one. If we end up working together, we use them to run the project. We don’t add you to marketing lists and we never sell your information.

We process this information because you asked us to: you sent it so we could respond. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. If you are in India, we process it with your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to deliver your message and run our business, such as our website host, our form-handling provider and our email provider. They process data on our behalf. If you choose to send your brief through your own email app, it travels through your email provider and ours.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. If we work together, we keep project correspondence for the length of the engagement and for as long as the law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@shipnsleep.com and we’ll respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
