06 · Software ConsultingA clear, honest second opinion before you commit the budget.
Some of the most valuable work happens before any code is written. Whether you are choosing a stack, weighing a vendor’s proposal, inheriting a codebase or planning a rebuild, we give you a clear and honest assessment, including when the answer is “don’t build this yet.”
What we build
Typical projects.
-
Architecture reviews
An independent look at what will strain as you grow, and what to do about it.
-
Code & security audits
A prioritized report on code quality, dependencies and security risks.
-
Technical due diligence
Clear assessments for investors and acquirers, readable by non-engineers.
-
Roadmaps & estimates
A vision turned into a phased plan with realistic scope, cost and risk.
What’s included
Everything a launch needs, nothing it doesn’t.
The exact scope is agreed in your proposal. These are the things we include by default.
- Discovery workshops with your team
- Written findings in plain language
- Prioritized recommendations with effort estimates
- Architecture diagrams and decision records
- Build-versus-buy analysis
- Hiring and team-structure advice
- A follow-up session for questions
How we approach it
A few things we don’t compromise on.
-
Independent by default
Our advice isn’t tied to selling you a build. Sometimes the right answer is a tool you can buy, or a person you can hire.
-
Everything in writing
You get a report you can share with your team, board or investors.
-
Trade-offs, not verdicts
Every recommendation explains what you gain, what you give up, and why.
Tools we reach for

Questions
Before you ask.
Is consulting just a lead-in to a bigger project?
It doesn’t have to be. Consulting engagements stand on their own, with a fixed scope and a written deliverable.
Can you review another agency’s proposal?
Yes, and fairly. We look at scope, estimates, technical choices and risks, and tell you what we would ask before signing.
How long does an audit take?
Most audits take one to three weeks, depending on the size of the system and how quickly we can get access.
