02 · Mobile App DevelopmentiOS and Android apps that feel at home on every phone and reach the stores calmly.

A good app earns its place on someone’s home screen. We design and build iOS and Android apps that open quickly, feel natural in the hand and hold up on a bad connection, and we handle the parts teams tend to underestimate: store reviews, release tracks, crash reporting and updates.

What we build

Typical projects.

  • Consumer apps

Polished experiences with onboarding, payments and notifications.

  • Companion apps

Mobile access to your existing platform, sharing the same accounts and APIs.

  • Field & operations apps

Tools for teams on the move, with offline sync, camera and location.

  • MVPs

A focused first version to put in front of real users before you invest further.

What’s included

Everything a launch needs, nothing it doesn’t.

The exact scope is agreed in your proposal. These are the things we include by default.

  • iOS and Android from one codebase, or native where it matters
  • Interface design that respects each platform’s conventions
  • Offline support and data sync where users need it
  • Push notifications, deep links and analytics
  • Crash reporting and performance monitoring
  • App Store and Google Play submission and release management
  • Over-the-air updates for quick fixes
  • Back-end and APIs, if you don’t have them yet

How we approach it

A few things we don’t compromise on.

  1. Cross-platform first, native when it counts

One codebase usually gets you into both stores sooner. When a feature truly needs native code, we write it.

  2. Designed for thumbs

Touch targets, gestures and one-handed use are design decisions from the first sketch, not afterthoughts.

  3. Releases you can pull back

Staged rollouts and over-the-air updates mean a bad build reaches a few people, briefly, instead of everyone.

Tools we reach for

Proven tools, chosen per project.

We pick technology for your situation, not out of habit. These are the tools we use most often.

Questions

Before you ask.

iOS, Android or both?

Usually both, from a single codebase. We only recommend fully native development when your app depends on features or performance that cross-platform tools can’t deliver well.

How long does app store approval take?

Reviews are often quick, but rejections happen. We submit early, follow each store’s guidelines closely, and leave room in the schedule for a resubmission.

Can you take over an existing app?

Yes. We begin with a code and dependency audit, fix anything urgent, then agree a plan for the rest with you.
